PROPHECY BOOTCAMP: Our topic for today is titled “The Winepress of the Wrath of God (Part 5)” from Dr. Ed Hindson’s book “Revelation: Unlocking the Future.”

The third angel says, “The wrath of God is mixed in full strength”

A third angel flies across the prophetic landscape announcing the doom of all who follow the beast and receive his mark. Just as “Babylon” made all nations to drink of the “wine of her immorality”, so God will make the beast worshipers drink of the “wine of the wrath of God”. His final judgments are pictured as “mixed in full strength” (undiluted or not watered-down) into the “cup of His anger.”

OCCUPY TILL I COME: We are continuing our journey through the book, “Coming Events and Present Duties,” by J.C. Ryle. This section is titled, “Occupy Until I Come!” (Part 8) based on the parable of the nobleman who went away and left talents for his servants to use in his absence in Luke 19:11-13. J.C. Ryle writes:

The second question I wish to consider is this — what is the present position of our Lord Jesus Christ?

The parable appears to me to answer that question distinctly in the twelfth verse. “A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and to return.” This nobleman represents the Lord Jesus Christ, and that in two respects.
