A recent survey labeled 92% of Brazilians as ‘homophobic’ for expressing a Biblical view of the role of men and women. USAID, UNHCR, U.N. Women, UNAIDS, UNESCO, UNFPA and UNICEF are all pushing for new laws the criminalize such views.
Christian pastor in Pakistan is arrested for ‘blasphemy’. According to Pakistan Christian Post, another Christian was arrested for blasphemy in Pakistan last month. After visiting a prayer gathering at a Christian’s home, Pastor Ka-ra-ma Pat-ras heard an imam call out on a loud speaker from a local mosque that “Pastor Ka-ra-ma Pat-ras is a blasphemer and infidel liable to be killed.” After the call, a Muslim mob congregated outside the pastor’s home to attack him, but police showed up at the scene and took him into custody. The pastor was denied bail and will likely serve an extended prison term.
