Welcome to The Prophet Daniel’s Report. This is Daniel Whyte III, president of Gospel Light Society, here to remind you that Jesus Christ is coming back soon and that you need to be prepared. This broadcast is not about predictions, however it is all about preparation
First, today, let’s look at some Signs of His Coming in the news.
The disciples asked Jesus in Matthew 24:3, “What shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” Jesus Christ then went on to give them (and us) clear signs that show us when we can begin to expect to see the coming of the Lord and the end of the world. Looking at world events through the lens of the Word of God, let’s look at some headlines from today’s news that point to the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Prospects of Progress in Mideast Peace Talks Are ‘Not Good’. According to Reuters, the prime minister told his cabinet in public remarks that “As things stand now, according to what happened over the past few days — when the Palestinians refused even to discuss Israel’s security needs with us — the signs are not particularly good.” He went on to say that he still hoped the Palestinians would “come to their senses and continue the talks so that we can move on to real negotiations.”
Psalm 122:6 says, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.”
A Report says that U.S. Bunker-buster Bombs Are ‘Not Powerful Enough’ Against Iran. According to the AFP, the US military has concluded that its largest conventional bomb is not capable of destroying Iran’s most heavily fortified underground facilities suspected to be used for building nuclear weapons. Citing unnamed US officials, the Wall Street Journal said the military was stepping up efforts to make it more powerful. The 13.6-ton “bunker-buster” bomb, known as the Massive Ordnance Penetrator, was specifically designed to take out the hardened fortifications built by Iran and North Korea, Friday’s report said.
The Bible says in Mark 13:7, “And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.”
Iran vows to stop “some” oil sales as nuclear inspectors visit the country. According to Reuters, Iran vowed to stop oil exports soon to “some” countries but postponed a parliamentary debate on a proposed halt to crude sales to the European Union. The Islamic Republic declared itself optimistic about a visit by U.N. nuclear experts but also warned the inspectors to be “professional” or see Tehran reducing cooperation with the world body on atomic matters.

Now, it’s time for Prophecy Bootcamp.
Prophecy Bootcamp is where we deal with the basics of prophecy and what will happen in the future according to the Bible. Our aim here is not to make predictions but to help you get prepared by understanding how things will unfold in the end times.
We are at part 5 of our series titled “The Plan of the Rapture” from John MacArthur’s book titled, The Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Our bootcamp subject for today is titled “Why Our Resurrection is Secured”. On this subject, MacArthur writes the following:
The basis for the hope that the Thessalonians had is in verse 14 of I Thessalonians chapter 4 which says, “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.” If Jesus’ body went into repose in the grave and He arose, you can believe that all those who sleep in Jesus will return with Him. You see, it is the resurrection of Christ that guarantees our resurrection.
In John 14:19, Jesus said, “because I live, ye shall live also.”
And in II Timothy 1:10, Paul said that it is “Jesus Christ who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.”
So, Paul tells the Thessalonians, “If we believe that Jesus died and rose again — and we obviously do — then surely we know He will bring those who are asleep with Him when He comes.”
Verse 14 also tells us that when Jesus comes back to meet us in the air, He is going to bring with Him the spirits of those believers who have already died and have not yet received their glorified bodies. So, when the Lord returns in the Rapture, the spirits of all the dead saints of the Church Age will be with Him to get reunited with the glorified bodies coming out of their graves. Those who are asleep are coming back.
On our next Prophecy Bootcamp, we will address the topic of how “The Dead in Christ Will Arise First”
In closing, let’s consider what God wants you to do in light of His Second Coming.
Today, we are again looking at some things Dr. David Jeremiah encourages Christians to do in his book titled I Never Thought I’d See the Day. In these last days, he recommends that you do the following as it relates to Islamic Extremism in our world today
* Educate yourself on the difference between the Muslim faith and extreme Islam.
* Be ready to effectively share Jesus with a person of Muslim faith.
* Pray for the people of Iran. The nation may have defied God, but within that nation are Christians and potential Christians who are not enemies but brothers and sisters.
* Ask God for a special measure of grace to love your enemies.
* Be knowledgeable about any extreme religious sects in your community.
Now, if you are listening to this broadcast and you do not know Jesus Christ as your saviour, God wants you to accept Jesus Christ before He returns. The Bible says in Romans 10:9 and 13: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Friend of mine, if you are willing to trust Christ as your Savior today, please pray with me the following prayer: Heavenly Father, I realize that I am a sinner. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please forgive me of my sins. I now believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life. Amen.
Remember the words of the Lord in Matthew 24:42: “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.”
Matthew 24:44 says, “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”
Keep looking up for your redemption draweth nigh. Let us join in the prayer of John the Revelator — “Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” God bless you.
